Hi I was trying to find an email to send this, but I could. not.

I am reaching out on behalf of Citizens Against Widening the Industrial Canal (CAWIC) to inquire about inclusion in the schedule.

We are a group of neighbors in New Orleans that is deeply concerned about the potential catastrophic impacts of the Army Corps' proposed IHNC Lock Expansion. We have been studying the project for over three decades and believe that it represents an existential threat to the entire City of New Orleans.

Our presentation would educate your constituents on how this 13 year, $1bn proposed project would affect their home values, their commutes, their air quality, and their general wellbeing. It includes a short documentary film called LOCKED, which outlines the history of the Industrial Canal and sets the stage for our slideshow on the Corps plans.

We look forward to hearing from you if it is possible to get on the schedule in an upcoming meeting.

Thank you.
