overgrown grass ordinance
St Bernard Parish Council tabled introduction of a grass cutting ordinance until next Council Meeting to give the councilman more time to make changes. around the one hour 30 minute mark. http://sbpg.pegcentral.com/player.php?video=4d72c256d3887400bb578ec14d7272f8
The proposed ordinance would change the minimum parameter of grass cutting required from 150 feet to a mere 20 feet from public right of way or buildings.
As nearby Lower 9th ward residents push the City of New Orleans to do more about the problems with overgrown lots, St Bernard Parish residents are dumbfounded as to why the Council would require less and expect anything different.
